President Obama called him "his guy" and "the key architect" of Obamacare. "Sniveling weasel" would've been a far more accurate description of Jonathan Gruber.
Before the hearing, Gruber submitted a truth-in-testimony form but omitted the heft of his income from his work on Obamacare, through contracts.
Rep. Jim Jordan asks Gruber to disclose his total income from Obamacare. Incredibly, the MIT professor ignores his own oath--given just an hour earlier--to "give the truth, THE WHOLE truth, and nothing but the truth" and insists that Congress "take it up with my counsel."
When Gruber and his counsel FINALLY arrive at the understanding that everyone else knows without having to consult a textbook--that PARTIAL income disclosure does not satisfy the WHOLE truth requirement--after all of that, Gruber simply lies and says he can't remember.
Such are members of the .01% in America today: super arrogant, fundamentally dumb, and most of all, utterly contemptuous of the truth.
